A nice collection of futuristic UI designs from the recent Avengers film. Useful reference for the next battle armor interface project you may find yourself struggling with.

Interesting little photofold effect by Supratim Nayak on Dribble. Reminds me of the paper app on iPad. Thoughtful UI :Photos fold up when fingers are slid on them, (bottom to top), to show options.
Slick demo for the simple photo app VSCO Cam™ designed by Visual Supply Co. They also make a set of presets for Lightroom and Aperture that look amazing. Would love to try them out - but hesitant due to the price.
Lovely weather app concept by Thorsten Beeck. Posted on Dribbble as a rebound to another really nice concept.
The Hello app by Evernote. A quick and pretty way to add bare-bones contact info to your phone. They suggest handing over your phone to someone you’ve just met and getting them to fill out the profile. The app also pulls in events from your calendar.
Clear for iPhone. Coming soon. Super simple. Fun. Colourful. Gesture-based. Designed and built by Realmac Software, Milen.me and Impending. Love it.
Pee in Peace is an iPhone app designed for Out for Health by AWP. Essentially it’s a searchable map of all the private unisex restrooms in Ithaca, New York. Their target users include caregivers for people of the opposite sex and transgender people. But it’s really open to anyone who wants a bit of privacy. Great idea. Great execution. Love the open / closed icon.
The Apple Dictionary. Quite often when I’ve mentioned this app to people, they didn’t even know it existed. I use this every single day. I love the simplicity. I love the typography. Plus it’s so much faster than the web. It’s in your applications folder right now. Check it out.
